Description

This has been a concept I've been thinking about for around half a year. I'm thinking of introducing a new universe, story, and a bunch of new characters! Basically, it's about this alien boy who... well, I don't really want to give out any spoilers as most parts of the story is still a WIP. Oh, and I drew this with some new markers I got for Christmas! If you plan to comment, tell me what you got!
Any constructive criticism is appreciated!

Hello, I'm from ProjectComment

This is a very interesting style here, I like it. Almost reminds me of graffiti art a bit with the colors and the dark sharp edges that you used here. The character is popping out the most, mainly because they’re in the center and they have this big thick black outline around them. I like how their hair has a shine to it, and with markers, this is some amazing work. The necklace is overall nice, and it has this sort of graffiti feel to it as I stated earlier that I think goes well with the medium here.

The female character was overlooked by me on a first glance, but after several I noticed that she’s there. I guess maybe bring her out a bit more, rather than keeping her directly behind the first character. Also having them both outlined together with the thick black marker outline would help pop them from the abstract background you got going there. I take it they’re high above in the sky?

The clouds there look rather nice, and rather than just keep them simple and white, you’ve opt to add in swirl designs on them, and on the planet. I guess to symbolize air movement? The backdrop behind it is very well done, and I like the merging and shading of colors, completely different from the rest, but it looks very well.

Overall you’ve done a good job on this, and it looks rather interesting with the concept you have going here. Best of luck, and keep up the amazing work.
